In-Home Lactation Consultation
LOCATION WHERE SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE
$350 -Self Pay Rate (Packages available for more affordable rates)
- Electronic HIPPA compliant charting system to complete maternal & infant health history
- Physical assessment of the mother’s breast and the infant’s mouth
- Weight check for the infant if needed, would include pre-and post-feeding weight
- Hands-on or off guidance & support throughout feedings during the consult
- How to use Breast pumps & pumping if going back to work
- Breastfeeding plan designed based upon the consult including handouts and videos
- Postpartum health & nutrition evaluation discussed. Includes recommended foods, supplements etc.
- The length of a consult is not timed. The visit will ensure that Mother & baby have time to process and adjust to the services provided.
- Insurance super bill can be completed after visit for clients to submit for reimbursement of consult fee. (Based on insurance plan & benefits)
